Wilderness Guardians is a unique group run by Myself and Ross (natureconnectiongsy) on a Saturday afternoon 2-4pm, £25 per 2 hr session. Age guide 11-13yrs.
For den making, wild food, wood crafting, tree knowledge, fire tending, nature connectedness through play, exploring and discovering a piece of wild land.
A nurturing and intuitively led space where connections are woven through the children and land, bringing a richness and abundance of resources and experiences to our groups.
I’m a John Muir Provider and after 25 hrs of attendance and meeting the criteria, the young people have the chance to attain a nationally recognised conservation award: Wild Places Guardian certificate.

Runs every Saturday afternoon 2-4pm term time. You can apply by emailing Tara wildguernsey@yahoo.co.uk or Ross natureconnectiongg@gmail.com
Children need deeply connected Nature Mentors, and wild spaces to remember their animal bodies amongst. They need freedom to move and play within environments that their bodies have evolved to know. Spaces to discover, feel safety and to deepen their relationships. It’s then that we believe they’ll know themselves as Earth, as home and how to care for both.
